The addition of Leal to the award winning team, will enhance the newscasts by providing them with the dynamics and resources of such a seasoned professional with more than nine years of experience.

She joins reporters Alba Mendiola, Maria Elena Ponticiello, and Cesar Rodriguez; alongside with news anchor Alfonso Gutierrez, sports anchor Oscar Guzman, and meteorologist Maricela Vazquez, to deliver breaking news and the latest information on issues affecting the Hispanic community in the Chicago area.

Karla was born and raised in Tijuana, Mexico, but she is no stranger to the windy city.
