Univision Communications Inc. announced that it has entered into formal affiliation agreements with Charter Communications, Inc., a Wired World Company, and Cable One, Inc. These agreements will allow us to continue providing Univision programming to more than 3 million cable subscribers as well as Galavision programming to more than 1 million cable subscribers.

"Univision welcomes Charter Communications and Cable One into our extensive family of affiliates," said Tim Carry, Senior Vice President of Affiliate Relations. "Through these agreements, we will be able to continue providing millions of viewers with quality Spanish-language programming. While Census 2000 demonstrated the magnitude of the Hispanic population in the U.S., the continued growth and success of our two networks underscores our value to the Hispanic community."

"Charter is pleased to be able to provide our customers with Univision and Galavision, two networks that have developed a strong following because of their distinctive and high-quality programming," said Patty McCaskill, Vice President of Programming and Pay Per View for Charter Communications. "Both networks deliver significant entertainment value for a growing segment of our customer base."

"Univision is the most requested Hispanic network by our customers," said Jerry McKenna, VP Strategic Marketing for Cable One. "Their programming is highly viewed and directly appeals to our subscriber base. We are very pleased to enter into this partnership with Univision."
