Estrella TV continues to grow its affiliation line-up by adding KZAK-TV (Boise, Idaho) and renewing KMBY-TV (Monterey, California). Both local stations are owned and operated by Cocola Broadcasting, one of the first station groups to sign with Estrella TV as part of its launch.
“Cocola Broadcasting has been part of the Estrella TV family since the start of our network. We are proud of our continuing successful association with this outstanding broadcaster and look forward to launching Estrella TV in Boise as well as renewing our network in Monterey. Both developments serve to underscore the revenue and ratings growth the network has delivered over the past three years,” said Winter Horton, Chief Operating Officer of Liberman Broadcasting.
“Estrella TV is here to stay and has become an important part of the Hispanic entertainment landscape in Monterey and we look forward to introducing the network’s exciting roster of entertainment, reality and news programming to our viewers in Boise. We have made a commitment to compete in the Hispanic space - and to do that I need the best product. Estrella TV delivers ratings - not promises,” said Gary Cocola, CEO of Cocola Broadcasting Companies LLC.
