Casa Editorial EL TIEMPO, Colombia’s media conglomerate, and Crisp Wireless announced the launch of the new El Tiempo mobile website (http://m.eltiempo.com), Latin America’s first news mobile site. This venture marks the beginning of Crisp Wireless’ commitment to serving the important and influential Hispanic community in the United States and the exploding Latin American market abroad.

In Latin America, 90% of all mobile marketing initiatives are SMS based. The El Tiempo mobile site will be the first Media WAP site in Colombia. The mobile website will feature five content categories: Colombian, world, sports, finance and entertainment news. The mobile site can be accessed through any mobile phone in the world although El Tiempo's Marketing and Communications Strategy will be focus on the Colombian market.
